NAD+ levels correlate with dose of NMN

Many previous studies have proved that NMN supplementation can increase NAD+ levels. However, another study recently announced that there is a positive relationship between the level of NAD+ and the dosage of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide supplementation.

This is a human clinical study published by GeroScience. The study shows that the higher the dose of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide supplementation, the higher the NAD+ level, and even a high dose of NMN supplementation (900 mg) is safe.

The test details are as follows:

Subjects: 80 middle-aged and elderly people aged 40-65

Duration: 60 days

NMN Experiment method:

The subjects were divided into 4 groups, and the dosage of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide was gradually increased.

Subjects in group 1 took placebo orally (placebo group)

Group 2 subjects received 300 mg NMN orally once daily

Group 3 subjects received 600 mg NMN orally once daily

Group 4 subjects received 900 mg NMN orally once daily

Test results:

After the subjects took 300 mg, 600 mg, and 900 mg of NMN orally, the NAD+ level in the blood increased significantly, and the greater the dose of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide supplemented, the higher the NAD+ level, showing an increasing trend.

In addition, before the test, on the 30th day and the 60th day of the test, the researchers tested multiple physical indicators of the subjects respectively.

After taking β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, all the physical indicators of the subjects were within the normal range, and no evidence was found.

adverse reactions, which shows that NMN supplementation for middle-aged people is safe and reliable, and can improve the health of the subjects.

These indicators include NAD+ levels in the body, pace, blood biological age, total bilirubin and triglycerides, etc.

NAD+ level: On the 30th and 60th day of the trial, compared with the subjects in the placebo group, the NAD+ levels in the blood of the subjects supplemented with β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide in the other 3 groups were significantly increased.

The NAD+ level of the subjects taking 900 mg NMN can reach 4 times that of the placebo group!

Gait speed (6-minute walk test):

Walking distance was significantly increased on days 30 and 60 of the trial in subjects supplemented with 600 mg and 900 mg of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide compared to non-supplemented NMN, e.g., 900 mg NMN subjects increased their 6-minute walk distance from 323 meters to 480 meters on day 60.

It should be noted that for the indicator of blood biological age, the blood biological age of the placebo group and the 300 mg group decreased, which may be related to natural aging or insufficient dosage of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide;

and the best effect of reducing biological age is to take 600 mg mg group.
