New healthy choice PQQ

 

PQQ naturally exists in a variety of foods such as milk, eggs, spinach, etc. In the United States, PQQ is managed as a "generally recognized as safe substance (GRAS)" and can be used as a raw material in energy drinks, sports drinks, electrolyte drinks and other foods; in the European Union and CaNADa, it is used as a dietary supplement or natural health food.

PQQ is a very potent antioxidant that plays an important role in brain cognition and memory. PQQ can inhibit the formation of peroxynitrite; it can potentially oxidize the redox site of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor, thereby reducing the activity of NMDA receptor; it can be used as an effective Antioxidants to protect mitochondrial lipids and proteins and have been shown to protect mitochondrial function from oxidative damage; can promote the generation of new mitochondria and neurons. In 2020, a report published by market research organization QYResearch showed that the global PQQ market size is expected to reach US$320 million in 2026.
